Interesting tidbit I came across from an article about the Spurs/Faker rivalry:

Los Angeles and San Antonio have played 70 games against one another in the regular season and playoffs combined since the start of the 1998-99 season. Through those 70 games, the series score is now even, 35-35.

They are tied through TEN YEARS of playing each other.

Well now its 36-35, Lakers, but after the Western Conference Finals, it will tied again 39-39, Spurs in 7.

oh man! a game 7 in LA would have me soiling myself...

valliant effort though last night by the spurs. the team's success against the best teams in the league is predicated on a healthy ginobili and they made it a ballgame without him. cervenka (gooden) also looked excellent in his debut. 2 points and 4 boards in 3.5 minutes!?!?!

he probably could have played longer and had an impact, but my theory is that pop doesn't want to give phillip that game footage to help prepare for the WCF.
