Whata You Think About This?

Green Chilies, eh?

Whataburger may be stepping their game up. I'm considering this for lunch tomorrow, but I'm on the fence if I should do this or not. I'll probably get the junior size since it's double meat & cheese. I don't want to pass out at work afterwards.

i like the two kinds of cheese. is that a whataburger first? however i'm too picky for green chilies.

the only time i've ever had them is when mac's mom puts them in her eggs and to quote linda the german girl "these eggs are terrible".

Green Chili..or hatch chilies are making a presence in texas and the rest of the country...

growing up in colorado and new mexico, who always had these greenchilies..or hatch chilies....I was never a big fan...i do make one dish that has the chilis on the bottom, a shit load of cheese, and an egg mix on top, pretty bomb

other than that...not a fan, centrtal market is hatching a green chili festival right now and Pappsitos added like 6 new green hatch chilies items for a limited time...all though I am happy for the green chili and the progress it has made...I too am like ryan...way to picky

Well I went ahead and gave it a try. It was interesting to start off...2 kinds of cheese and the hatch green chilies adding some flavor. By the end of the burger, though, I was a little hatched out.

I can say that I've tried every Whataburger special release to date, but this one I won't be going back for.

Yeah I was the same way. I couldn't resist trying it and I really wanted to like it; but in the end it just wasn't satisfying. It's just a plain and dry cheeseburger with some puree'd hatch chilies.

I think if they would've done more of a sauce with the chilies then it would be good because I like the flavor.

Interested to hear your feedback once you've given it a shot, Coach.
