Wow Roger Mason did it again.

After I received numerous text messages expressing jubilation and excitement, I was happier than ever to be a spurs fan. The worries of not being a playoff contender for the first time in 10 years was replaced by an extreme burst of confidence. It was the spurs of old (fresh, resilient, experienced) that represented San Antonio last night, not the aging superstars that so many people have labeled them.

I am a spurs fan, hear me roar

Roger Mason is my new favorite Spur, hands down. He actually did an awesome job guarding Kobe too on the defensive end.

Mason (and Hill) are just what the Spurs needed for this season. I love Bruce Bowen, but at the age of 37 he isnt the same player he once was. He will have a few effective games coming off the bench in the playoffs though.

The game the other night felt so fucking good!

That was by far the most exciting game of the season.

Mason should be our mascot.
