After regurgitating all of the info and reading many articles, I have decided the spurs have a 50-50 shot of winning/losing the championship. The lakers are without bynum, the rockets are without mcgrady, the celtics are without garnett, the warriors are without any real players, the hornets are without chandler, the suns sans amare, and the mavs just suck.
So its a crap shoot my friends. let's all relax, get a blue pill from atherton (old-atherton), and watch this thing unfold

i've always been a glass is half full spurs fan, but i really think what ginobili brings to this team is too much to be replaced by the likes of our role players who have themselves been pretty iffy as of late.
that said, i'm not even sure we get the most out of the masons, goodens, hills... the rotations we've seen have been piss poor these last few weeks. i know we've had injuries and new additions, but pop has taken guys out of their element and it's hurt the team.
here's what i think we need: 1. i think we need to see more bowen. i think he's lost a step, but the guy can still play good d. he needs to be out there taking more of finley's minutes. 2. less finley - this guy should not see 35 minutes per game. ever. why is he our new perimeter defensive specialist?? 3. let ol georgey boy hill run the back up point! no more mason at the point. he's struggled since he got moved there and it's not helping em, it's hurtin em. 4. drew gooden needs to see 35-40 minutes of action a night. we need another legit 20 ppg scorer with manu gone, and this guy is the closest thing we have. he also takes pressure of an ailing duncan.
horrible loss. they showed no character (after the first quarter). no hustle on the glass.
the defense wasn't bad, but they just don't click offensively.
no ball movement. they don't seem to be running any kind of set offense at all. if i see finley hafta create his own 3 point shot one more time, i'll $hit.
the offense needs a retooling. we only have one guy scoring 20+ a game this season and it's shown.
screw the 2010 offseason plan, we need fresh new talent THIS SUMMER!
